crack in oil pan

hi board, I have a tiny hair line fracture in my oil pan. Its only about a half an inch long. I don't feel like buying a whole new pan or a used one. Is there anything out there that I can patch this crack with? I don't have a welder or I would do that, but someone told me to use RTV high temp sealant? For a tiny fracture it leaks about a half a quart a day. Any suggestions?

If it is possible to get it nice and clean and rough it up a bit with sandpaper around the crack, JB weld (epoxy based adhesive, you can get at auto store) should work.

Wouldn't JBWeld work also?

Oops, missed that someone had already said that. I'd just use some cold weld and keep an eye on it.

Just take it to any garage and have it welded. It will take about 5 mins, and a decent shop will charge next to nothing for it (maybe even free cuz its such a tiny job).
