I was in the hospital at the end of May (mono) and I noticed a thirdgen with MSE tags on it. I've never heard of it before. I don't remember if it was a Camaro or a Firebird... I -think- it was a Camaro with a Formula wing on it .. or was the raised TA type... I don't remember. It was sweet though.
Is it a production car, or just custom tags? Any and all info you have would kick!

Mods:
Removed air baffles, mandrel bent cat-back pipes (but stock replacment muffler, Dynomax Turbo and Catco converter are on thier way)

There were some early 3rd gen Mecham Special Edition TAs. IIRC from the boards they did actually have work done to them beyond stickers and such. Try a search/asking on the history board...

- Definitely prototypes, high powered mutants of some kind. Too weird to live, too cool to die

Yes, the Mechem family has been selling modified f-body's since the late 70's. It started with T/A's. There was the Macho T/A and the Mechem Camaro. The were mild to wild depending on how much u wnated to spend. Mild 305 all the way to modded TPI motors. High Performance Pontiac did a two part article on the history of these cars. You can now buy new 4th gen T/A's from these guys that are awesome and pricey....
