Looking at a 89 Turbo Trans Am
Looking at a 89 Turbo Trans Am
I know this is not tech but did not know where else to go. I'm looking at getting a 89 TTA there's one for sale here in town. Does this price sound good. It's only got 4,800 miles on it and is in mint condition. There asking $24,995 for it but I'm gona see if they will take $22,500 It's all orginal except the battery. Is this a good price for one with low miles? I've seen some with 48,000 miles for around $13,000-$15,000. Where can I find a site that would have a price on this car with low miles? Thanks for any help.

Hey man, you can try N.A.D.A, or Kelley Blue book. I know that in excellent condition with low miles they do go for big dollars. I have seen them for around $24,000 -$26,000. Sure are nice cars though. Good luck with it man. I would take it to a mechanic, and have it checked out for sure first though. Sorry I am not much help.

Thanks, I found Kelly Blue Book and they have it at $19,565.00 The car looks great. I've been searching tonight on info and does anyone know what comes in the owners kit that came with the car?

Yeah, that $19,565, can sure go up higher depending on the options. I know with mmyself sometimes, that I don't mind spending a little more on a car if I know it has been extremely well maintained (Babied). Tell the guy what it is worth in kelley blue book, and see what he says. Either way, I don't think you can lose on a car like that if you keep it mint. That is a collector, and an investment in my opinion.
