Sorry for a repeat question here guys, I saw a post here not to long ago on this, but I could not find it again. This is my second GTA. I had an 88 and now an 89, and they both had Ice cold air, but not real powerful blowers. I do not have any leaking ducts. I know I saw that someone said the installed a new blower motor from a later model car that was more powerful and said it worked great. I just can't find the post. If anyone knows what other blower motors will work, and if they bolt right in without any modification, please let me know.

In addition to a larger/faster blower, you can try to clean the 10+ years accumulation of grass, seeds, weeds, fungus, and other crud that collects on the evaporator. Getting the evaporator clean improves air flow and allows better heat transfer, so the air is even colder. It's like neglecting the filter in your furnace for 10 years, then expecting good air flow.

BTW - It's not a fun job opening the cases and getting to the evaporator for cleaning, but it will probably pay off.
