Rubber gaskets?
When you put on a rubber gasket like on oil pan or valve covers should you use some kind of sealant? do they make a special sealant for those gaskets or you just put them on dry? Thanks guys.

Dead dry.
Oil pan gasket you will probably still want to put a little dab of RTV in the usual 4 corners where the gasket corners meet the front and rear main caps, but otherwise dry.

I never used any.
As far as the 4-corner oil pan gaskets, I have given up with them and gone to a 1 pc. They work really well.

Should have no problems... unless something is not clean or not strait.
