Disconnecting Wiring Harness??
Can the wiring harness be disconnected at the point under the passenger fender right before it enters the car? I'm pulling my engine and tranny this weekend, and then wiring harness is almost completely disconnected right now. I want to get it off so that it doesn't get overspray on it when the engine compartment is painted.

The wiring going into my ecm can only be disconnected at the ECM plug. It has no connection between the entry point into the fender and the exit point inside the car. Not sure this is what you needed but that's how I interpreted it.

Yes, you can definitely fish it out through the body, and getting it back in shouldn't be too hard either. I used the same route when i was running the power wires for my amp into the interior. The big look for the ECM just goes into the fended back by the blower, then into the pass. compartment right at the kick panel...gravy.
