416 head question!

hi!

i read somewhere that the 416 iron heads (58cc chamber) were used on 305ci HO engines, is this true?

True.

They were used on the L69 "HO" package, on the "low-po" LG4's from '82 through '86, on the cross-fires, and on the '85 and '86 LB9 TPI engines as well.

They work out nicely on an otherwise stock 350 that needs some flow and compression boost.
