Pretty sure it's the pump, but I wanted to find out what you guys think before I replace it.

Here's the story...I was doing some donuts in a parking lot when the power steering went out. I drove it home, and started looking it over.

The belts are all still on, and there's fluid in it. No power steering though. The pump hasn't been making any unusual noises, so I didn't figure that there was anything wrong with it.

Any ideas?

Donuts are bad for you. As you can see, they were also bad for your PS.

Loosen the pressure hose and see if anything comes out. If not, pump.

 

lol i tried doin 180s in a parking lot one night after it rained and all the fuel sloshed to one end of my tank and th motor cut out.. i tried it 3 times and got bored of turning my car back on.... id check the pressure line too just have some one crank the car and help you other wise itll be a mess

 

Why does stuff always break when you abuse your car...

 

I don't know, looks like I'll have to replace the pump.
