starting car when hot

When ever my car warms up to temp (160) and i shut it off the temp then climbs up to about 190 after a min or so. But when I try to start the car within 10-20 mins of shutting it off it turns over for a good 5-8 sec before it catches. but when the engine is cold it starts on the first crank. Anybody know why this happens?
