How to set timing?

What do I set the Timing to on my Stock 305 LG4 out of My 86 Firebird.

Also if anyone has any tips on how to do this as this will be my first time doing it.

I took the ditrubitor off, and messed up putting it back in now I am disorented and must re time it.

My dad says he knows how to do it but we need to know the timing degree.

Thanx guys

I think this is the first time I've ever used it:

It's been discussed at least 100 times. Your LG4 is no different.
