non EGR intake on EGR heads

would this work okay? i have an edelbrock performer on my motor now, and would like to step up to an RPM, which doesnt come for a motor with EGR. whether or not i have it doesnt matter to me, cause i use an EGR blockoff plate on my motor as is, i just want the RPM because it matches my cam's power band more.
thanks, Adam

It's never been a problem here, functionally equivalent to a blockoff plate. I'd say go for it.
