10.5 piston for 383
I need a 10.5:1 piston for my 383 that i can have fly cut to clear my valves. any help is appreciated, because the pistons i have now are not going to clear my large 2.08 valve with my lift being .583 and 5.92

do you have a suggestion as to what piston to use, that is a really good brand, and do you know if it is thick enough to flycut?

It might clear, and it might not. It depends on what the valve lift is at a point far away from peak lift (i.e. the .582" and all that, doesn't matter).
The only way to know, is to put a piston on a rod, assemble it to the crank, put the cam in with the timing set on like you intend to run it, put a head on with some sort of realistic head gasket simulation, and measure it.
I know you're getting tired of me telling you that..... but belive me, it's the only way you'll know.
I can tell you, that with that little bit of lift, you shouldn't have a problem, especially not if it's a roller cam; because the duration is going to be so short (like less than 250°) that the valves will be pretty much entirely closed the whole time that the piston is anywhere near TDC. If you're really really worried about it, and you've already got a set of pistons that your bore is honed to, have the valve reliefs for the intakes cut about .050" bigger in circumference.
