My moms friend; her husband just went to prison for some reason (probably drugs), but he was in the middle of a motor swap on his 3rd gen T/A. She just told my mom last night that she'd sell it for any price as long as someone got it the hell outta her yard, before she burns it. So lets see, today I will take a look at it and see if its in good condition. If its fixable i could have a Trans Am. If not I could always part it out.

So should I take a look into this car, or do you think its a waste of time?

We're lacking a littel info here. What year is it, what general condition, and how much is "any price"?

If the car is in reasonable condition, the price is right, and you need a project, go for it.

If you acquire the car, before you drive it anywhere, remove the rear seat, kick panels, etc, and vacuum everything really well. You might even want to steam clean the carpets. You don't need to be pulled over by the cops and have the drug-sniffing dogs get all excited when they approach your car....
