What to buy for a new Fuel pump? 86 350 TPI.
Hi Guys
I am buying a new fuel pump today and was wondering what to buy for an 86 350 TPI high performance/high flow/volume fuel pump. Car Craft says to use a 96 chev truck Vortes fuel pump.
Suggestions?

If you want high performance, I think about the only word you'll get out of anyone here is Walbro, with a few exceptions. People I know have them, and love 'em. I think I have the link around here somewhere..... yup, here it is www.members.home.com/syclone/APE/fuelpump.html
I wish I had known about them when my fuel pump went out on me, but my mech recommended the fuel pump that GM used in the Syclone trucks a while back. That way it's still GM but it's a lot better than stock.

I can vouche for Ron over at APE. $93 shipped for a Walbro 255 lph pump w/ the kit, can't beat it. Best part is I sent him a check on Wednesday, he got it Friday, shipped Monday when the check cleared, and I had my pump the following Wednesday. The service is top notch, and so is the pump! Pump is quieter than my stocker.
