Alright guys here is the deal. I have an 84 camaro with a carbureated 305, its automatic with a 700r4 and a shift Kit, the rear end is a 3.73 posi. When I start the car and run it for about 5 minutes it runs fast as hell..it shifts hard and late, with a ****load of power, but after about 15 minutes of driving it is as slow as a truck! It shifts really early and weak, and I have absolutley NO acceleration whatsoever, by this point a full sized van can beat me off the line!! what is the problem?? any help would be appreciated!!! thanks guys

Sounds like it's time to check the mixture solenoid adjustment. You should also check choke operation both cold and hot.
