Vortec Intake Gaskets?

I was told what a good intake gasket to use on Vortec heads when drilled to accept the early model 12 bolt pattern intakes. The part number is 10148096.

But, these gaskets have the same size ports as any other early SBC gasket. The right gaskets to use supposedly have the larger/higher ports to help seal the top portion of the Vortec ports.

Anybody have some info on this?
