My weatherstripping and t-tops seem in fine shape. so why do they squeek especially with bumps in the road.

The squeaking is what you hear when the rubber seals and plastic T-top components rub together, usually when the chassis is flexing due to bumps in the road or turns while driving. A light coat of grease or vaseline should just about make it go away
