Make sure you know what you're getting into.... you can find those things on the classifieds all the time, from people who buy them and decide not to use them and then sell them at a loss, for some reason. Probably inadequate research.

The LT1 is a good middle to higher RPM manifold.
You WILL loose some of the lower end torque due to the short(er) runner lenght.

The runners are about half way between a miniram and "Elderbrock" VJ.
If this is where you want to make power and have the cam to match then it's a GREAT idea.
It's a LOT cheaper than a Mini-Ram. For the right application the LT1 is GREAT.
If you have a MPFI system now you can run it with your existing ECM / engine control system.
If not there are several sources for wiring harnesses.

I really don't know anything about this but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Sure that rbl69 guy knows a lot more than me bout these kind of things but I did reed all that stuff in a book sumeres.

He's right, it'll run good, if you can get it to work. When I referred to "research", it was research on the part of the buyer, and what all would be required; the actual intake mods on the part of the seller (EGR removal & block-off, distributor hole, cooling flow) aren't too much of a challenge.

Just be sure you know what you're getting into. Or, you could just get a MiniRam; may not be a whole lot more money by the time you get done.

I have used the MiniRam. It's a great intake but DAMN is it pricey, espeically when you buy their (proprietary) fuel rails! I would buy a converted LT-1 intake from John for about 1/2 the cost if I ever built a similar motor. John just wasn't around doing his thing when I sprang for the Miniram.

I modded mt LT1 intake with John's help the whole way, and following his instructions. Do your research on this project if you want to do it. Now that my swap is complete, I've been running it for, I'd say, almost a year now with no problems. I really prefer this intake over the TPI. For the money, it's a great swap.

So let me get this straight I buy lt1 manifold from john along with fuel lines and remote t stat. The only things left for me to fabricate is coolant hoses.

To get the real effect of the manifold I must purchase a new cam, maybe an lt4 HOT and perphaps port my b2l heads.

I guess I would also need to buy an apfr for an lt1, and get my stock chips egr system cut off. Or of course a newly tuned chip.

The only mods to my heads is the addition of some jbweld here and there and the block off plates.

one more thing if I get an intake from ebay it can not be a 93 and I must get the fuel rails with it.
