1.5 or 1.6 rockers?
I'm pulling the heads off of my IROC, and was gonna put new valve seals, etc on the heads while I had em off. Also, I thought I'd go ahead and put new push rods and rockers on it, but I dont know if I need to go with 1.5 or 1.6 rockers on an otherwise stock engine. Do I need new springs? Will this throw off the ecm? I figure if I'mm gonna do any performance mods, now is the time, but I don't wanna pi$$ off the accountant too much. I also thought about porting the heads a bit, but alot of this is virgin territory for me, thought I'd throw this out there and see what y'all think.
THANKS!!

I'm also just about to do some head work. I have decided on 1.6 rockers because my cam doesnt know the meaning of the word 'lift'. If your engine is pretty stock too, you may want to look into getting some middle-of-the-road 1.6 rockers, then you will get more lift, less flex, and at a decent price. And probably new springs too if you like to rev. Stock springs suck. Someone reccomended comp 981 springs to me (check jegs, they're like 60 bucks) so I think I will get those too.
As for it messing with your computer, I have no idea, sry.

With putting on 1.6rr's your computer will never know the difference. Im buying 1.6's for my car as soon as the guy tells me a total with shipping.
