Smog standards question
Hi,
Not really 3rd Gen specific but can someone tell me when automakers switched from building a separate 49 state calibrated and a separate California calibrated car to just building a single 50 state calibrated car to the tougher of the two standards?
Did this switch differ from automaker to automaker?
Is anyone still building cars for two separate calibrations?
In my 1986 Camaro shop manual it appears that there was only one spec. Correct?
Anyone know of a good reference for this specific topic on smog controls?
