With my car, stock headers, a single-wire, standard O2 sensor works fine, right? I heard a bunch of people talking about the heated O2 sensors and wondered if I need one. It just so happens my dad went out and got me a standard Bosch O2 sensor today, and ordered me my new heater core. Total cost was like $32 for those parts :P

I have headers and lots of other mods and I use the single 3 wire O2 sensor, so you should be just fine as long as its away from high heat sources.
