Cam swap/ chip help needed
A blown headgasket
has given me the opportunity to do a few performance mods
. My car is bone stock. I'd like to put headers on it.( I'm going with shortys and a new bolt on Y pipe), and since I 'm down to the block I thought I'd put a new cam and chip in. Nothing radical, (this car is supposed to be my daily driver). I don't plan on changing my TPI or throttlebody (52mm I think). I understand that if I change my cam a new stock hyper/superchip won't work. Can anyone recommend a cam/ chip package out there?
I'll be checking for response, but also welcome calls at 561 -523-9687 Thank you. Bob

Welcome aboard.
Two forums on this Board are dedicated to your issue - TPI, and PROM. I'd recommend heading to them and see what's there.
One warning - select your cam carefully. If the manufacturer can't tell you that it absolutely works with a stock speed density TPI, don't get it.
