Rod bolt question!

I damaged the threads on one of my rod bolts while assembling my motor and my question is when I get new bolts pressed in to the rod do I have to have the big end of the rod re-sized?

When you have new bolts pressed in, the machine shop will always rehone (not sure on the spelling or the term) the rod. They have to so the cap will sit flush on the rod.
