Okay if anyone forgot, my car wouldn't crank but all the accessories were fine. the general opinion was bad starter. Today, I swapped in the new starter and wired it up exactly like the other one was. When I turned the key, the bendix(starter part that engages the flywheel) just spun. It didn't move back to engage the flywheel. Could I have wired something wrong? I know the starter is good because i had it laying around from a different project and it worked fine then. I just want to figure this out so i can stop messing with my starter and get going on the motor swap. Thanks for any help.
