i bought a 91 z28 motor, rebuilt in a state with no emmissions testing. i live in idaho and we have emmissions, the motor has no egr parts, manifold has block off plate, no air pump, nothing, the motor is in a 92 chevy fullsize truck, what do i need to do to the motor and truck to pass? im running the old truck exhaust manifolds from the truck 350, so i have no air toobs, is there any way i can run the truck charcoal canister and then the egr hookups for the camaro and not have to use the air toobs? please if anyone can help me out i need it bad, i reset my emmissions date to apil so i dont have much time?
wow i forgot to say that i was goin to run the l-98 aluminum heads and i have found out that thay have no egr passage, so is there any way to pass emmisions with these heads with my truck manifolds? please what can i do!!?

 

What kind of emission testing do they do? Is there a visual test or do the sniff the tail pipes or run it on rollers?

 

they look for cat, lift hood snoop around, stick sniffer in pips, then rev and hold at like 2500 for 30sec or so, not sure what they will do now that i have a different then stock motor in truck.

 

i had a 4.3 5 speed in the truck befor the swap, i could get the emmissios papers and show some data from the test, would this help out at all?

 

anyone how can i pass emmissions with vetter l98 heads?!! need pics
