ok two quick questions for anyone who knows.first can you put a TPI air intake on a TBI motor?i dont mean the actual TPI itself just the black plastic intake snorkel.and then possibly get a K&N replacement for it.will this work and would it be worth it?and the 2nd question is do i need to get a bigger carrier to do a gear swap from 2.73's up,or will the 2.73 carrier work?thanks.

oh yeah and i would also rig up an air cleaner assembly to make the snorkel work.

2.73 is a two series carrier, If you want anything hirher than 3.08, you need a 3 series.
