High Pumping Fuel pump on TBI system???

Want to switch from TBI to TPI...so I will be getting a new Walbro High-Pressure
255 ltr/hr pump.....however...About a year ago I got a flowmaster exhaust installed at a muffler shop...and they welded everything....I was thinking of taking my car to a shop...and have them do the fuel pump swap....so they can weld the exhaust back together..and i wont have to deal with it...first..it shouldnt be THAT much money in labor should it? Second...will my TBI system beable to handle the new fuel pump....it'll only be temporary (from the shop back to my house)....I am a bit confused because I know TBI uses like 12psi fuel pressure...and TPI around 40 or so...but will the TBI regulator do its job and take it all the way down? Thanks for the info. Also...any recommendations as to where I should take it? Should pretty much any shop beable to do it? Should I be there and watch and make sure they do everything right?
