recently installed a dual plane intake. i was wondering if a kickdown cable and throttle cable from another car would make the added length or would i have to make extensions for existing cables?. 305 lg4 w/ 700r4 cc q-jet... off subject but light smoke flows conatant out tail pipes at idle for only about 6" and a little thicker as rpms climb do have leaky valve seals but i don't think it is related. smells like a rich exhaust but ecm reads lean.... working on fully disabling ecm but really need to save the money for college..

When I put the Performer manifold on my 385 I found a bracket setup from Edelbrock that worked just fine. Check that out...
