OUCH!! '85 V6 leaked HOT fluid from under dash on my bare foot!!

Heater Core?? Had just left beach, drove approx. 6 blocks, made a qwik, sharp, right turn...felt a warm sensation on my right, bare foot...looked down and could see a clear liquid (water??)on foot and also on the plastic covering (to the left of radio)under dash, near the floorboard!!

Any ideas???

Thanks

Yea, I'd say heater core. I'd also look to see what else got wet as the coolant traveled the length of the dash to get to your left foot.

I just replaced my heater core a week ago. Man that was the biggest PITA ive ever went through. But i was quoted at $500 so i saved myself a lot of money.

The core itself is usually only around 50 bucks. Do it yourself and save a lot of cash.
