almost start
88 rs v6 automatic. engine spins over good, and acts like it is only firing on one or two cylinders but never fires up. what could be wrong. i can hear the electric pump kick in and then kick out after a few seconds. what could be wrong? thanks

Try to remove a few easily accessible plugs and check their condition.
