AIR system removal

I'm in the process of removing all the smog equipment off my 85 Z28 HO. I've gutted the cat, pulled off the EGR, and took the V belt off the smog pump. Now I want to clean up my engine bay by removing the smog pump and the AIR lines/hoses. Has anyone done this before and will I need something to plug the holes where the AIR lines were?

Sorry if this seems terse or harsh, but it is discussed often. Here and on the Exhaust and Engine Swap forums.
