What is the name of this sensor???

It is located on the EGR valve itself and looks like some type of temperature sensor?

EGR solenoid. Its what controls the EGR position.

Thats exactly what it is. EGR temp sensor. Supposedly it tells the ECM if the EGR is turning on or not, but I have disconnected them and not set a code before... Maybe its just not sensitive enough

btw, its not a solenoid, thats next to the distributor.
