Quick Questions (Gas Gauge and wireing)
I know this has been up here before but the archives are absolutely useless.
The gas gauge in my car reminds me of the archives actually, because it SUCKS! It'll tell me when the tank is full. And then about 10 minutse later it'll say empty or near empty. I've been told it is a ground, but how do I fix it? Where is the ground wire at? Its by far the most annoying thing about my car to date.
Number 2, I'm running an HEI distributor on a previously fuel injected car. What wires do I use. The tech board says the pink wire and the black wire. Are they the wires that used to run into the coil? Or are they on the other plug that goes into the distributor?
Also i would like to say taht anyone who wants to go from 245 HP TPI setup to a 400 horsepower carberated set up better have a hell of alot of money, cause this F'n car is draining me dry and TAKING FOREVER to finish! Hope to be running by friday tho.. thanks fella's.
<Edit> Also, I want to get rid of my AC and my smog pump. Nothingi s hooked up to them. Can i just get a smaller belt? Will the tensioner still work? And how ugly is that goign to look without a compressor...
