Best way to reinstall springs??
I'm getting worried about how I'm going to reinstall my new springs later this week. When I took them out someone I work with told me to put a jack under the spring cup and take the strut bolt and the control arm bolts out so it would come out evenly. The problem was that with no engine or trans in the car it was so light that the whole frame would lift before the struts and springs. Anyways I let them out the side by just dropping the strut, but I don't think they will go in that way. Any suggestions?

when i did mine... even with the engine in... i had to have someone sit on the hood... to help keep the springs compressed...
i recommend a spring compressor also... i rented mine ... you need the one that goes up inside the spring...

A spring compressor is a must. I couldn't even get my springs to go back in much less bolt the strut back on without the compressor.
