deleting pulleys for good?

I really need help with this. I have asked all over and cant get a straight answer. Are there any negative effects on the engine that result from bypassing the smog pump and a/c pulleys? any help would be appreciated.

No, what would lead you to believe bypassing either would hurt the engine?

Depending on where you live, disabling the smog pump could net you a fine if you get caught.
