Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Chevy TPI 350
Transmission: A/T 700 R4
Carb. or TPI

Which would you go with in a 1989 Formula 350. I was thinking about getting the Edelbrock Air Gap Intake with a 650 carb.

Engine: 350 TPI, With roller lifters
Transmission: 4 speed 700r4
I would go with the TPI, just because of the fuel mileage, and the relibality. I find that the TPI cars run better than carbs, but the down side is that they are harder to work on. Carbs are easy to set up, and straight forward. But when all options are taken into consideration, I feel that TPI are better.
