MSD distributor
my S10 currently has a 4.3L V6, that is soon replaced by an L98. i have a MSD distributor (p/n 8367) in it, and was wondering if it can be converted to V8 (p/n 8365)use. i know that on the factory unit, you can change the module, and reluctor, and you're good to go. anyone know if the same holds true for the MSDs?
my timing is erract, and when i last pulled the distributor, there is a fair amount of play between the gear, and the top of the shaft. i assume this is what causes the timing to jump, so maybe its something that MSD can fix. if so, maybe they can replace the V6 stuff with V8s. any ideas?
