need help, engine knocks!!!
hi, i have a 305 camaro and i just rebuilt the heads and put in brand new lifters. well a while after i drove it one night, not even hard but then it started knocking really loud and im not really sure what it is, it is really loud and consistant and knocks faster as i give it gas. but it runs just fine with no potblems and no smoke. has good oil pressure and plenty of oil. what do you think? thanks alot

I think you wiped out a crank bearing. Is the sound consistent (knock-knock-knock), or rythmic (knock-a-knock-a-knock-a)? Or...?
