Part Identification
Whats the name of this part? Broke it while putting in the Temperature sensor. The part I'm speaking of is the one down in the intake manifold with the silver plunger sticking up. It has a lot to do with smog and vacuum, I know that, but I need to know what to tell the parts guy.

I'll guess. It's a temp sensor, the early engines had three or four separate ones. What color wire went to it? Could be a cold start injector control.

Did it have a bunch of vacuum lines running too it? Might be the EFE valve. Good chance there is a part # on the piece you broke off or the piece stuck in the intake.

Here's a pix of what broke off of it. It must be a thermo vacuum switch of some kind.
