How easy would it be to remove all the components of the stock AC from 91' Z28?

I never use the AC in my car and I also need to replace the blower since its really weak. The AC is just was waste of space and extra weight. How long will it probably take to remove all of it? Are there any special tools I need?

A friend of mine just took his off last Sunday and it didnt take that long from what I remember. I was removing my somg stuff so I wasnt completely paying attention but they did not need any fantsy tool all you need is an A/C delete pulley to replace the condensor. I am not sure of the part nember maybe you can find it on the Technical Article section of this fine webpage. Oh yea maybe 1 hour or so for removal.

I've seen it done lots. I don't necessarily recommend it, but do you really need power steering and coolant for that short quarter mile? Like I said, I DON'T recommend it, but have seen it done.
You should take the car to have the system evacuated before you open it though, for the environment's sake.
