Alternator Bearings change, how?

I've got a '86 camaro and the bearings in my alternator has gone wrong.
How can I change the bearings?
Anybody knows it?

easier to buy new alternator. if you have to ask how to change the bearings you'd be better off buyiong a rebuilt alternator. about all you have to do is take the alternator apart, bearings/bushings are in each end.

ok, but how can i get out the bearings from the alternator body?

Depends on the alternator. If it's an older si10 model, 2 wire plug, then it's rebuildable. If it's one of the newer styles, 4 wire plug or more, then it's not easily rebuildable. To dissassemble the alternator you need to unsolder the field windings to pull it apart.

Just get a new one.
