They will work. JUst put some in my 416's. You will have to have the valve seats cut for the intake valves and get the combustion camber unshouded after too. Those valves will work great on ported and polished heads. That is a really good deal tho. I paid 68.00 for just the intake another 68.00 for the exhaust. I would ****** those up. My only concern is they do not give the maker of the valves.

That's a heck of a deal for SS valves...

Your 416 heads have smaller diameter seats to seal smaller diameter valves...just installing larger valves, does nothing to increase the seat size...so in order to take advantage of more flow. you need larger seats installed, or have the original seats enlarged(if possible)

i/e, the intake seats on your 416's are cut for 1.85inch valves...now you have a set of 1.94inch valves...the "hole" needs to be bigger to allow more flow to take advantage.

That really is a *** price for SS valves..heck, even if they are only 10% better than stock valves, you.'re stlll ahead of the game.

I think I'll do some bidding

Oh, unsrouding the chambers for the larger valves...instead of me explaining, do sme dearching on porting heads article by Sitting Bull

Okay, I did notice one thing loooking at them a bit closer, they only have the single groove keeper...means you won't have a place for the standard leaky valve stem seals...so you'll have to have the 416's cut for positive seals where some material is machined off the valve boss on the head so a new style seal is used..it's much better than the old way anyways...but just FYI

Fel-Pro makes a positive seal that fits the factory guide boss without cutting them.
