she still won't start...
alright...my camaro (305 TPI) still won't start. a guy i know threw some sort of meter on there to check the diagnostics (i don't know the technical term for it, but i'm sure you guys know what i'm talking about when you put a paper clip in this little do-hickey and the check engine light flashes to help narrow down the problem) yeah, so he actually had a meter for this and he told me my computer was bad, so i dropped $85, a bunch of time and a whole lotta hope into putting a new one in...and nothing. she still won't start. i know i'm getting fuel (w/ an FPG got a total of 40 psi).grr...some one help. i'm very down and depressed now. my camaro is making it very hard for me to love her.
Does it make any sound when you try to start it, does it click, turnover, are you getting spark to the plugs? Need a little more info...

You see the terminal below your steering column? It looks like
- - - - - - -
- - - - - - -
The top two right ones are terminals A and B, connect those with a paper clip with the key in the accessory position. The terminals are like this:
g f e d c b a
h i j k l m n
This will cause the computer to go into diagnostic mode and flash any error codes you may have. Unfortunately, you changed your computer..so you have lost all error codes that may have been stored, and since your car wont start, no more codes can be stored.
Sorry about the worthless explanation, but its good that you learn how. Now you get to try the guess and check method. 86 has the idea. If you have fuel, you just need to see whats not working: starting system, or ignition?

(40 psi to be exact) but how do i check for spark???? help me! i'm almost out of money.
