when i let my car sit there idling for about 5-10 minutes white smoke starts coming out the pipes what can i do to fix that

Does it happen only 5-10 minutes after starting? Or does it happen when you start it up too? It could be a blown head gasket.

Sounds like just water condensation in the exhaust (normal). If its a head gasket, start the motor COLD with the radiator cap off and look for air bubbles coming up through coolant. Also, if white "smoke" never goes away after the 5-10 minutes then I would look more for the problem. Also, are you losing coolant level in the overflow tank?
