external fuel pump

I was wondering if it's possible to bypass the internal pump with an external unit in a 91 Z28 350?
Thanks

Sure, just remember to remove the old pump and extend the pickup (With hose or hardline) down to the bottom of the sump. I think the most common place to mount the outside pump is where the stock fuel filter is located... I know it's a tight squeeze just about anywhere under there, just keep it away from the exhaust and moving suspention parts, while at the same time keeping it as close to the tank as possible.
