wire wrap/blueprinting

Where can I get something to wrap around my boots and wires to prevent my headers from melting them? I tried Jegs and Summit, couldn't really find what I wanted.

What kind of a difference does balancing and blueprinting make when builting a motor? What is the cost of having this done to an unassembled short block?

Jegs has them, i don't have the cat with me, but I remember they are expensive... Like $20 a pair, thats $80 just for boot covers. They arn't a wrap though, more like a stretchy fiberglass.

to answer your questions..

blueprinting is only needed on an extremely hiperformance engine, or if you're really picky, or if you have alot of cash to blow

BALANCING is a different matter, it is cheap (around 150 bucks) and will make a humongous difference in how your car runs... at the very least balance your engine..
