worn belt causing low voltage?
My belt is all cracked but not squealing yet. I have been gettin SES lights about a low voltage at electrical timing circuit and also low voltage and fuel pump relay. Could the worn belt not be letting the altenator charge right and not giving enough voltage to the car? Also the car has just shut off without stumbling backing out of parking spaces. Have had previous posts about the car clicking and the fuel cutting out when accelerating then just dying. My car has really been acting up lately and its pissing me off. And even after the SES lights i just turn off my car turn it back on and shes good to go and starts to run right again but sometimes sounding like the starting system is very weak.
Sometimes when i throw a code going down the road my timing seems to retard and the car runs like crap
Maybe low battery, worn belt, computer going bad or loose wires but i cant think of anything that would go to the VSS, Fuel Pump Relay, and the ETC. Also i would thinkt that if there were wires loose the problems would still be there after starting the car back up but they arent.
Codes 43, 24, and 54 all in order that just showed up all within a half an hour

What's my motto for these situations?... oh yea...
Make sure the car is in a good state of tune, clear the codes and then begin your diag. Trying to diag a car in a poor state of tune is like trying to solve a crossword puzzle written by someone who can't spell.
