Intake problems.../Question
I am looking for a street legal (emission legal) intake manifold for a 1989 Iroc Z. I plan on having it bored and stroked to a 383, and I heard the stock TPI give a 383 problems. Can anyone tell me what a good performing intake that is still emission legal? Which still can house the EGR. Links would be nice.

For aftermarket intake manifold you basically have two choices, Edelbrock 3860 or Accel 74197. The TPIS Bigmouth is a slightly modified Edelbrock.
Here's some links,
Edelbrock 3860 at Jeg's
Accel 74197 at Jeg's
If you interested in the Accel unit, contact Rich at Cruzin' Performance. Last I heard he was setting up a group purchase. There is a thread in the GP forum about it. The $519 pricetag on the Accel intake is ridiculous.
Here's the link to the GP thread, Accel Super-Ram base manifold G.P.
