BBC Build Up:
We've just finished part two of the Big Block Chevy Build up of Kenny Staib, a machinist at Weston Machine. Most of you will recognize Kenny and his car from being the 2003 Atco Quick 8 Champion I've posted before about. He's stepped up from the Buick headed small block to a brand new DRCE II Pro Stock Block and Heads. This different approach is very intriguing with small cubes and high revs with spray to make use of an already stout chassis.
New "Drop Down" boxes for your ease of navigation and comments are welcome.
Exclusive: Kenny Staibs Quick 8 Camaro, BBC Buildup Click Here:
Come watch Kenny spend his money in this second edition.
Sincerely gDR

The heads are early Buick small block chevys mainly for comp eliminator classes for high flow and really high RPM. They are almost ancient now since al the new canted degree heads are easy to get, Kenny made over 1,400hp with this smal block 434 on 400 hp of spray. 7.81 @ 183 in a 29,900lb Camaro. They are not an easy swap and headers need to be custom made.
I hope you enjoyed the article. Ken will be looking for over 1,800hp out of 530 cubes and a good chassis to get it down the track which he already has.
