Fuel pressure too high or too low?

Fiddling around with my fuel pressure, my car runs worse now.. Unfortunately I don't have a fuel pressure gauge to tell where I'm at exactly. I can't tell if it's too high or too low.

There's a noticed loss of power all throughout the RPM's, and when I go from a stop part-throttle it'll go, stop, then go again.. It's not quite a bog, and it doesn't sound like it's going to die. It's as if I just took my foot off the gas for a second.

Any ideas? I know it's rather vague...

As my AFPR instructions said, "add pressure in 2psi increments until you no longer notice a gain in power at high rpms, then decrease pressure in 2psi increments until you feel a loss, raise pressure by 2psi."

So try raising pressure until you feel the power come back, and when you can't feel it anymore lower it a bit.

Also, since your car kind of bogs for a second before you accelerate, you may be (or have been)running way rich and have gotten your spark plugs dirtied. You might want to pull them and see if they are dirty and clean them off.

running the adjuster screw in makes it richer (higher pressure) and out makes it leaner ( lower pressure)

I know you know this already, but you REALLY need to buy or borrow a gauge to see where you are at.

Actually there is an adjusting screw for the fuel pressure on TBI's. I just needed your dremel to get to it. ehheh
